Tite releases the Brazilian World Cup squad for 2022; Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino are absent.

Brazil’s 26-man squad for the forthcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar was unveiled by Coach Tite on Monday, making the Selecao the first side to do so with less than two weeks until one of the biggest athletic events.

The five-time World Champions will enter the World Cup with a star-studded squad and the best possible backup in each position. The squad did not include Roberto Firmino or Philippe Coutinho, but full-back Dani Alves, who is presently recovering from a knee injury, was chosen.

Group G includes Brazil along with Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon.
